I’m super appreciative of Paris Hilton and Carter Reum for the invitation to the first annual 11:11 Media Innovation Summit, an incredible day of Web3 + Creators + Brands + Night Out At Santa Monica Pier. Paris Hilton and her new company 11:11 Media invited 100 of us to connect with leaders in Web3 at a time when a confirmation that I am on the right path was so important. With so many negative stories in the headlines about the market, the connection with VC’s, Founders, Creators & Brands who are committed to building and investing in Web3 and Creators was inspiring. I admittedly did not know a lot about the Paris Hilton brand or business. I had seen her on Clubhouse a few times during the pandemic but honestly had no clue how massive her empire was nor how much of a tech futurist and overall BAWSE Paris Hilton is. I watched her incredible documentary on Netflix, plowed through a deck that her company 11:11 Media sent me and then spent an entire day in her orbit and I am now a big Paris Hilton believer, fan and appreciative of her hustle and her humanity.
At 11:11am on 11/11 at One Hotel in West Hollywood, 100+ of us heard from superstars, business leaders, creatives and disrupters to discuss the future of Brand experience, art, fashion, beauty, music, gaming and community in Web3 and the Metaverse. This gathering differed from any other events I have been to in Web3. It was unashamedly led by female speakers, it was diverse, the environment was stylish and well designed, the panels did not drag on forever and we kicked it like rock stars later that night dancing to DJ sets by Zedd, Diplo and Paris herself. I had the most inspiring conversations with leaders from brands, platforms, venture capital and creators.
At 11:11pm Paris had drones flying over Santa Monica Pier creating a light show of all light shows. Not only does this woman throw a great event by day, we turned up at night with the same creative flair, fun and design. Paris Hilton is always on brand and stays relevant.
